How to Identify a Bad Nanny

Leaving a child to a total stranger is definitely a hard thing to do. Let’s face it not everyone can afford to install surveillance cameras in their homes, so the way to really catch a bad nanny depends in your own techniques.

Sometimes it’s alright not to trust someone especially when there are tell –tale signs that give one the reason to doubt.

To give the parents a peace of mind, here are some of the ‘clues’ to watch out for if one has hired the wrong nanny.

· The baby refuses to be left with the nanny. The bond between the baby and the nanny would take long to establish, but if the baby’s aloofness become too noticeable; maybe its time to straighten up some things.

· The nanny can’t seem to tell the activities that they had for the day. It could mean that some things are being kept secret from you.

· The baby has been getting into all sorts of accidents lately. The nanny job is supposed to focus on the children, if the nanny has other things in mind your child could really be into different troubles.

· The babysitter doesn’t accept criticisms from you. Your nanny is supposed to act as a co-worker so it is best if one is willing to change for the best.

· The babysitter doesn’t come on time. A person’s dedication in her babysitting job can be seen through her punctuality.

· Your baby is always dirty and unkempt. It could only show that your nanny can’t do her job well.

Getting a nanny isn’t an easy task; getting a bad nanny is definitely even worst. Be aware if you happen to get the wrong one, never let your child be in the hands of the wrong person.
